GEOLOGICAL ZONE:
rolling foothills with calcareous and clay soil.
DENSITY OF VINEYARD:
2,500 vines per hectare.
PRODUCTION:
24,000 bottles.
VINE PLANT:
Lambrusco Grasparossa.
WINE MAKING:
in steel with 7-8 days of cold macerating with the skins.
REFINING:
2 months in the bottle.
AGING POTENTIAL:
2 years, according to vintage.
COLOUR:
ruby red intense, tending towards garnet.
BOUQUET:
distinctly vinous and particularly fragrant.
FLAVOUR:
dry, sapid, full-bodied and slightly tannic.
PAIRINGS:
cured meats, first courses, tagliatelle with meat sauce, lasagne, red meat and sour cherry tart.
SERVING TEMPERATURE:
12-14° Celsius.
